Buttons not working

Buttons stopped working about a week ago. What a strange thing to happen. At first, I thought it was just the navigator bar, but none of the buttons work. Fortunately, the touch screen still works properly.

Is there any type of quick fix for this or do I need to send it in for repair? I'd really hate to do that. I never seem to be able to restore my backups properly.

do a hard reset and that will most likely work. do a backup ONLY of PIM stuff, and then move the rest of the stuff in by hand.

i assume youve already tried a soft reset?

ok, i do the hard reset andthe buttons work.

so, what settings/programs could be preventing my axim's buttons from working? i've reset buttons to default in the settings menu.

are you running something in the background? a program on your axim may be interfering with the proper functioning of the buttons.

nothing unusual. i'll start uninstalling programs to see if that will fix it. but, what program could intercept the power button and prevent its operation?

there is no telling how a poorly written program can impact the noraml operation of your ppc.
