Having Problems With Direction Pad

Hi there,

I was hoping some other X5 users out there can be test something for me.

When I am trying to play games that require moving the d-pad and I try and map the keys for myself I get wacky results (when I press down I get left, press left get up, press right get down, etc.) if some other X5 users can please test this game and see if they get similar results as I want to know if I have to send my X5 in for repair.

Here is the direct link for download.

RGDS & TIA

Not much of a gamer, and I almost never use a PC so someone else will have to test it for you (that link points to a PC-based installer). But I can tell you that my X5's D-pad is a flakey p.o.s., and that if it weren't for another local X5 user installing Tomb Raider and showing the same gets-the-girl-killed bad directional control I'd have assumed mine was broken. Nope, the D-pad on the X5 is simply the worst yet. The one on the Casio EG-800, that rocks. Best made so far.
