USB Flash Drive To Axim.

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I have
a USB Flash Drive and I was wondering if there is
someway that I could access my data from that USB
Flash Drive directly on my PDA?

I don't imagine that without a USB host, you can't connect the Axim to another storage device. This would be because, in essence, the Axim is a storage device itself. Without a host to manage the connection, it's not possible. There is a CF USB 1.1 host card that will be available, but it will cost more than the Flash memory itself. At this point, there isn't a way. you would be better served spending 20-30 on a media reader for your main PC, and shuffling either your CF or SD/MMC cards between the PC and the Axim.

So what so you suppose would happen if you got a female-to-female USB adapter, and plugged a USB drive into the Axim's USB-cradle? =)

You'd get......nothing.

The Dell cradle isn't a USB host either, so it would not be able to read the USB drive.

Here is a CF USB 1.1 host adaptor that may work:

It is advertised to work with Axim. Pricey solution though.
