Hi,

Under Settings, Input, I select Letter Recognizer, but when using various programs, the keyboard comes up. Can I set Letter Recognizer to always pop up?

In any of the programs where you are entering with the keyboard on the bottom right there is a icon of the keyboard and a arrow. Click on the arrow and select letter recognizer it is now the default input for all programs. The settings input is just for adjusting defaults of each input method.
