By default, the Axim is set to blink for 10 minutes when an alarm goes off as a notification. Click on Start > Settings > Sounds and Notifications, then the Notifications tab. Check each of the events, particualrly Reminders, and see if Flash Light For is selected. Turn it off where you wish.
