How do I shutdown my X5?

Sometimes I press the power button and it just dims, press it again and screen then goes off. Do different things happen when you press and hold or just press? That's in my hand.

In the cradle; usb still connected, PC always on. I press the power once. PPC goes off, but in about 5mins the X5 goes back on and Sync backup with my PC. I had to pull the usb to keep it off.

What am I doing wrong?...Thanks

1: Quick press turns it off, Press and hold for
a second or two and the backlight goes off..


2: Your axim is set to sync every so often if connected,

-Start
-Active Sync
-Tools
-Options
-Schedule
-Uncheck
"When connected sync every 5 min"
