volume control

not really a problem, but a question for all the gurus:

is there a way to program the scroll buttons on the side of the axim to function as voume controls for programs that dont offer key mapping as one of their features?

thanks for all replies

sheldon,

If you tap the volume icon at the top of the screen (which opens the vertical volume slider bar), the side scroll-dial does control the volume. They key is that volume slider bar must be open to gain this functionality.

Not sure if this really helps, but thought I would mention it.

Re: volume control

Sorry. I couldn't find anything to program the buttons for other apps. I know how to contro WMP's volume control.

When you open the WMPlayer
- tap Tools
- tap Settings
- tap Buttons

1. Select Funtion
tap the arrow and scroll to Volume UP

2. Press Hardware Button
pressl up on the Scroll Button or press up on the Directional Pad

then repeat the process reversing direction for Volume Down
