If I just leave my Axim sitting on my desk, and don't use it for a minute, the screen goes dim. It comes right back with a tap on the screen, but I would like to monitor the screen while I'm working on my desktop, and I can't do that when it goes dim.
How can I keep my X5 with Mobile 2003 from going dim after 1 minute?
You can set to never dim on AC Power, but I think the max on battery is 5 minutes.

Blimey, I don't remember that limitation when I was using the X5. With the x50v, you can simply untick the box in the Brightness settings so that it doesn't dim on battery power (no time restriction).
It's been a while since I've used the X5!

Depending on whether you've got PPC2003, or WM2003...either to go Settings>Backlight and untick the box beneath "on batter power", or go to Settings>Brightness and do the same.

Well, Guvn'r.......in'it a corker! You're correct in every way.
On the X5 there's that box you speak of and the max limit is 15 minutes, if you so desire to check that box.
