Sd Card Troubles, HELP

Hi
I have a problem with my SD Card (SANDISK 128MB)working with my Dell Axim. One day i recieved a popup that asked me if i want to do a format because of some error i believe. I said no. But then suddenly all the files in my SD card wouldnt work like my mp3 files.

However this popup message asking me to format never showed up again, so what i did was downloaded flash format to format my SD card. this helped for a bit. I then formated my card using that program.

When i was trying to put some mp3 files onto my card, after about 5-6 files were downloaded into the SD card, it would stop and say there is an error and that i should check if my card is full, the file is protected, or that the file is not set to read only. All these didnt apply to me.

And after that, those 5-6 mp3 that i successfuly downloaded wouldnt work themselves. Can someone please help me with this problem as it has gotten rather frustrating. thank you in advance.

Mad

Just do a search with-in these forums under sandisk and you will find your answer. it is unfortunate but Sandisk SD card suck! Return it if you can and buy Simpletech, Lexar, or even crucial. but Sandisk SD cards do thios to most everyone with an Axim.

I agree. Some don't have the problem, but others do. Just take it back and get a lexar or similar brand.

If you look through the previous threads re: Sandisk cards, you'll find that you seem to need to format the disk using 3rd party apps like "Storage Tools" (look for the link in the threads).

I had problems, too, but they disappeared after formatting with above program at "Fat32".
