Hmm Active Syn Problems after Service Pack 2

In the past, my Axim X5 was synchronizing perfectly with my Outlook, which resided on our email server. I had a problem on one occasion but I did a soft reboot and it began synchronizing again. But, I recently had the "Service Pack 2" loaded onto my computer and now I can not synchronize my calendar, contacts, etc with my computer. I can "see" my Axim because I have transferred files to my Axim from my computer. Also, I can not use the "tools" etc. on my Active Synch. Our MIS staff is mystified because she can not identify the source of the problem.

Has anyone had this problem?

Thanks.

Make sure you set ActiveSync as an exception in the Windows Firewall, which is enabled by default after installing SP2.

Absolutely...

That was the very first thing I noted when I loaded SP2 a couple of months ago. Of course, the very second I connected my AX Windows Firewall in fact ASKED me what to do. I, of course, told it to let it Always Allow. Never a problem since.
