SD card corrupts
Twice in one week, I have loaded software onto my SD card and, for reasons I can't ID yet, the SD card seems to corrupt. It then asks me to format the card. I don't know why this is happening. Anyone seen this. Could the card be no good? By the way, this is a Lexar card, not a SanDisk.

Aximsite Prospect

Hello, I did experience the same problem with my Transcend 256 MB SD card. Now it is totally unusable. Have sent for warranty 2 days ago and am still waiting for the new card to arrive to test.
Note : This is a brand new Axim (no ROM updates, using ActiveSync 3.6) Here's a chronology of what happened when I bought the SD card 2 weeks ago ... 1) Copied MP3s & MS Reader books to the card using the cradle. No problems. 2) Tried to use a sync cable to transfer video files (around 50 MB) to the Axim, failed. Files totally lost in the card. Had to reformat. 3) Copied files again using cradle to the Axim. Success !! 4) Next day, files disappeared again and reformat. 5) Setup Mazingo to sync with SD card. Used sync cable to sync .. no problems. 6) Next day, synced Mazingo using cradle. After syncing, SD card totally dead !!! Can't reformat, can't copy nor write. Returns Error Code 0 when attempting to format. Well, that's what happened. Hopefully, the new card will work. Will update with A02 ROM and ActiveSync 3.7 and see whether the same error occurs. | |||
