I brought the cradle to work and plugged it in and windows did not find a driver. I am running Windows 2000 Prof., the same as at home. When I plugged it in at home, Windows recognized it. Where can I find the drivers for it? Please help.

my boss had the same problem, make sure your device is turned on in the cradle.

make sure the plug is plugged in and the port works. that could be a problem as well. Or even update the USB drivers.

The cradle is not a device to be recognized, the Axim is. As casewiz says, make sure the Ax is in the cradle and turned on and it should be recognized.

       

I am making a second connection at work and when I installed everything, nothing worked. The last thing it done was recognize the mobile device. I was never prompted to setup a connection type. ActiveSync will not pull up either. Has anyone run into this?

Did you install from the CDROM from Dell or just connect up the Ax? You must install from the CDROM to get the Dell drivers installed.

       

I installed from the Dell Companion CD. The Axim Cradle was listed in the Device Manager as working properly.
