sd card
when i load a program on to my sd card and then i try to run it . my screen just goes blank or it locks up my axim up.. some people say it needs to be formatted but to what fat 12 fat 16 fat 32 ,,hell i dont know..maybe the card is bad how do i tell if it is bad .. please help.. it is a PDC 128 securedigital card

What program? Can you see the SD card when you look a the memory screens? Can File Explorer see the card and the files on the screen? We need a little more information to help you.

yes it can see the card in file explorer and memory . when i try to run the program i get an fatal application error program icbm-pocketpc-arm.exe...
exception:0x0000005 address: 000198d0 and if i keep trying it sometimes it works and then sometimes you click on it and i does nothin the card is formatted to FAT16 sector size 512 bytes and cluster size 4kb | |||

Some programs just don't want to be anyplace but Main Memory. That Schumacher racing game did that to me when I tried to put it on the SD card. The developers said it was the first fatal exception they'd ever seen.
Check Here for some good info on FAT for different size drives, and other stuff you always wanted to know. | |||||
