Won't turn off
Hello, I'm a bit of a newbie to the Axim as I received it just last week. I noticed when I press the power button, it tends to turn back on by itself after a short while. Especially after turning off the computer it is sync'ing with. It seems to just go on standby when I press the power button, how do I completely turn it off?

Check your activesync settings. Make sure you don't have it set to sync on a schedule when in the cradle.
Activesync>Tools>Options>Schedule Also, activesync starts up whenever it sees activity on the USB port, so any spurious signals there will wake up the Axim. BTW, you never really turn the Axim fully off. It's running constantly so it can alert you for alarms, appointments, etc. It also wakes up whenever it is connected to the cradle/cable and whenever a card (SD or CF) is inserted or removed. Clicking the power button turns the screen off, and puts the Ax in minimum power mode, but not really OFF. | |||||
