Backing up your X5

I'm having an issue with the up/down jog key on the side of my and am wondering about backing it up befor I completly dissasemble it to repair/replace the jog key.

Will a "Back up all Data" from "Data Backup" under "Programs" really back up ALL my Data and APP's so that I can restore from a CF/SD card to another unit? Or will I need to start from scratch reloading the the apps to my backup X5? Acording to the X5 it will take 18MB to back up. I have a 515MB CF and a 1G sd card. In addition, almost all my apps are actually loaded onto the 1 G SD card.

Any Idea's?

Using the backup utility included you can save to a storage card then restore later from the card and you dont have to re-install anything. It is also a good idea to copy that file off your card to your pc hard drive in case the card gets corrupted before you can restore from it so you always have your backup file stored safely somewhere.
