X5 Not Syncing to the Computer

Not sure what is going on with my Axim X5, it synced with my computer for almost a year and then one day just stopped. I played with it for awhile and decided to just Fdisk the computer as it was just that time.

Now that it was Fdisked, I installed the sync software from MS and rebooted, and it won't detect my Axim

I am so sad

not sure what is wrong with it. I un-installed the software > Rebooted > downloaded the software and installed > Rebooted and hooked up usb and placed the Axim in it's cradle - NOTHING

Would you, could you, please help me

If you open ActiveSync and go to Delete Partnerships, do you see anything? You might want to try and delete any partnerships in there and then on next connect, it might find it.

I run into ActiveSync not recognizing my device sometimes and that has helped in the past.

Other option - try different USB port on PC.
