Symbol Wifi Trouble...won't connect to network...

Ok, my school's Network Admin setup the security key and all that, and it is supposed to connect via the "Work" connection, but my PPC keeps connect to "The Internet" connection, which may or may not be different. Anyway, I can't browse and websites or connect to anything because of this. None of the settings changed, to my knowledge, but I don't know why it won't connect to the Work one, and not The Internet.

I have "Work" selected in the options too.

Try going into the network settings - Start, Settings, Connections (tab), Connections, Set up my Proxy server. On the Proxy server tab, check the top box (This network connects to the Internet) but leave everything else on this page blank. On the General tab, the name should be "My Work Network." OK and then select the Advanced (tab), Select Networks and select "My Work Network" from both of the pull down lists. Some people find they need to use the enter key on the on-screen keyboard (instead of the corner X) to get the settings to 'stick.'

I have the opposite problem - I cannot get the drop down menu of 'Connect to Internet' to stick. If I use the X the exit or press return then go back in, it is back on work again? How do you get the settings to stick??
