Is there a way to connect an mp3 player such as an Archos 20 gig portable harddrive to a Dell X5 thanks for the suggestions

There are USB CF cards that allow you to connect USB host accessories, but not sure if you need separate drivers to detect it.

You need drivers. Gp to the X50 forums amd look for X50v storage devicd. Go to the developers page and make aa reqext. It shouldn't take long, probably before WVM2005 comes out.
