Wifi Static..
It seems everytime if I touch my Wifi card while in a call with my voip provider I get heavy static, or if you cover the Mic thats just as bad...

Hmmm...
Could it be that you have an abnormally high amount of static charge build-up?
Actually, it sounds like a faulty card.

I picked up a Brand new Ambicom wireless card a day before my Symbol card came in, they both do the same thing.
If I need to I can post a sound clip.
and i'm touching the plastic top part of the card.
