Turning buttons off

OK, an odd question for y'all...is there any way to turn the buttons OFF? My recorder keeps coming on when I do NOT want it on and I seldom need it. Maybe when my grandbaby gets old enough to start talking, but she's only a month and a half old now.

You can goto start - settings - "Buttons"
Select the record button and assign it to <None>

Or you can try the program on my site called "Pocket PC Key Disabler" .. not sure if it will work on the x5 or not though.
