Almost sounds like you need a new one...or there is something internally wrong with your Axim that is causing it to flake out on you like that. Try doing a search on aximsite for "digitizer" and see what pops up.

Try reading this post to see if anything in there will help you out. I know it is talking about the x50v but hardware is hardware most of the time and I think that most digitizers, in relation to these type of devices, could be susceptible to the problem you are having. Keep us posted. :)

Same issue, I believe fixed.

Xeon, I had a very similar issue with my digitizer on my X5. Somewhere in the forums it was suggested that you disassemble your device and clean the edge of your screen. The part behind the frame. Theory is that if dust, sand, whatever has worked its way between the frame and the screen, it causes problems like what you are having.

I did this recently and it appears to totally correct the problem. Just be carefull and be sure to get all the screws there are 6, a couple of clips, and one snap wire connection and you have it. Clean it with a camera lenz cloth or something similar and put the whole mess back together. I can give more detailed instructions if you care to hear them.

Before you try taking it apart, try flicking the corner of a Business card along the edges of your screen between the bezel and digitizer to remove any debris.

Don't try canned air or blowing it out, this may only send the junk in deeper.
