X5 Battery not holding charge very long

I used to get 6-8 hours of use on a charged battery, but now a full charge only lasts about3-4 hrs. The only recent change was to add software for a wireless keyboard.

Welcome to the site!

How long have you had the battery for? Li-ion batteries do have a limited life. If you have had the battery for a while then a loss of longevity is expected. Read this tutorial for info on these battery types.

You may need to pick up a new one online if you find yourself running out of power.

Having the wireless on will make the battery run out a bit quicker, but like jp said, li-ion batteries dont last forever, and their charge cycles keep getting less and less time
