My Axim has competely reset itself 3 times in the last 3 days. The first time occured after I noticed the power button switching from orange to green repeatedly. I quickly took the battery off and put it back on. A dialog came up asking me if I was sure I wanted to reset, I chose not to, but it did anyway. All data lost.
I reloaded and re-synced my apps. During an install, it locked up with some type of error so I did a soft reset. Again, all data lost, complete reset.
I reloaded again and backed up this time. However, when I was finished installing the Navigatin bar update from Dell, I chose to reset, and again, all data lost.
What is going on here?
Any suggestion is appreciated.

I think your back-up battery is dead, backwards, or just not making contact.
Persistence can pass for brilliance

It sounds like your main batter was in place for the second two resets. So the backup battery wouldn't cause those. But it also sounds like your Axim was being charged durring the second two resets (?) If so, it could be power noise. Normally, the battery should absorb any power noise, but if your lights flicker when this happens, it's worth a thought.

Otherwise, I would call Dell.
The world may not be perfect yet, but the Axim is (almost).
