I have a quick question about the names of the different operating systems. I have seen, in reference to the X5, people using PPC 2002, PPC 2003 and WM 2003. Is there a difference between PPC 2003 and WM (Windows Mobile) 2003, or are these two the same operating system? Thanks.

The 4 that I know of are:

PPC 2002
WM 2003
WM 2003 SE
WM 5

I believe PPC 2003 is a term some devs use in reference to WM 2003 . . .

Correct.

There is also WM 2003 Phone Edition, standard and SE. (Not MS Smartphone either, used on the ipaqs and HTC units).

And of course the original PPC OS, often called PPC2000
