"appointment in calender" troubles

i was making some changings to my appointments to my calendar. it was a re-occuring event and when i exited, (hit the "OK" button) i get a message "an unexpected error has occured in this program" and i can't get back into the calendar. anyone know how i can delete this event? please leave me different options on how fix this problem

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
