battery readings down and then up

Got my first low battery warning today, after having my Axim for about two months.
I was using my Axim and it gave me a warning; I checked and the battery meter showed 24%.
I left my Axim off for about an hour, and checked it was in the 30s, and later in the 40s; without recharging.

I was wondering if anyone else sees similar dips while using, and later increases when it sits off for a while?

-------seems like a reasonable occurance, as I know a little about electronics (but not too much)

The new BIOS should fix this. My Backup and Main battery were jumping all over the place and A02 fixed it.

It is not unusual for a battery to have a slight gain in charge when the device is turned off. My Ax does and my Palms did also. However, from 24% all the way back to the 40s is a bit abnormal. I suggest you upgrade to AO3. While my battery readings were never off the wall, the upgrade has stabilized mine, particularly regarding the backup battery.
