Well im a about to buy a x50v from ebay.
The thing is that the its in german.im thinkin on makin it english and while searchin for similar subjects i saw somewhere some procedure that may be done with the rom version.
Since im totally new i want to know about it.
About the os changing possibilites and the rom definition.

You need to download the latest rom revision from dell (a05)
Get the rom image from it and put it on a sd card. Enter the bootloader. I am sure a result from an aximsite search, or from another forum member will get you more detailed info.
