Cool Configuring the X50V for remote e-mail

I know there has been a lot written on this, but I just don't seem to find the information I need.

I have a X50V, obviously with WiFi and Bluetooth. I want to be able to access my work and home e-mail while outside both locations at lets say a hotspot. I would prefer to not pay for service, and would try to locate a freebie location. So here's the question! What would be the actual steps in setting up my Axim for that use? Thanks for your help.

I may be confused about your question I guess. Are you recieving your email now? If so, once you make a connection it should automatically download your emails. You may have to switch accounts from your home to office email but that is how mine works.

In terms of connecting, if there is a free hot spot, that is something different. I have not had good luck finding "FREE" wifi hotspots unless you are paying for a hotel. And even those are hard to find. The Hampton offers it I know. Download WiFiFoFum and it will help you locate hotspots.

No, I am not receiving wireless e-mail. The only e-mail I get is when I put the Axim into the cradle. My question relates to setting up so I can receive wireless e-mail.

Go to you outlook email. Accounts- New Account-enter you email address-follow the promps and then enter your POP3 info just like you would on your desktop when you are setting up your account for a new isp. To check you have to go to accounts and POP3 and hit the little hand with the axim in it next to accounts.

This works for me.
