I have an Axim X50V with Windows Mobile 2003 SE, version 4.21.1088. I have been using a Hitachi 6GB Microdrive to store / sync / listen to .WMA files created form my CD collection. I have been ripping the files at work with Media Player 10 (XP professional). Things were working quite well until yesterday when I started having sync problems within Media Player...I started getting error messages and no sync. I tried all kinds of stuff and decided to do a hard reset on the X50V, after backing up my Outlook stuff. I removed my Microdrive and CF card before the hard reset. I set up windows again and reloaded Acrobat reader and 2 units conversion software items. I also re-loaded by Airscanner antivirus and firewall. Today I was able to rip and sync a few CD's back to the Microdrive. However, when I now go into Media Player, Media Player does not and cannot find the Microdrive...only the SD card. What am I doing wrong or is the microdrive failing?
