My X50 clock is off about a minute a day ...

Your PDA syncs with the host computer and that dictates the time set. Look to see if the time on the PDA and the host computer are the same. If so, the host is probably the problem. There are a couple of programs out there that sync with the world clock to keep both up to date. Google for Atomic Clock and give it a try.
