CF Card backup problems

I'm trying to backup all my data to the 256mb CF card. I also have a 1gb SD card installed. When I run the backup program it starts ok, but at 11% completion I get a message:

'CF Card' is removed or is read-only.

The cards in the slot snugly and I can access files and I deleted the last backup. So I don't understand this problem.

Can someone tell me how to fix it?

Thanks,
George

Maybe the card need a whole reformat. You can format it from ur pocket pc with Flash Format. You can also pop it in a Windows Pc or laptop that has a card reader and format it there. WARNING: Formatting deletes all files, make sure to move your impoartant files, and make sure they're not read only.

I have the same problem and I have formatted the card several times. This makes me nuts. It also seems that each time I try to install a program on the CF it displays an error message like "not enough disk space". The weird thing is that I can transfer data without any problem with my card reader attached to my PC. Please help!!!!
Thanx.

I found that I can back up "Backup PIM database only", but cannot "Backup all data".

Try backing up to the bis and then move the .bak file to the cf card. This can be how u temporarly back-up until the issue is fixed.
