one ear piece not working on headphones

Hi I have an X50 (mid) and have come across a problem with headphones where sound only comes out the left ear piece. I have tried the obvious...trying different headphones, checking if I have gone deaf in one ear, etc. It seems to be a hardware problem. Anyone come across this problem before? Any easy solutions or will I be forced to exchange the unit? Thanks for any suggestions. Mike

Ok I made sure of that, still no sound from the right speaker. The same is true when I try to play stuff over my computer speakers, the left one works but not the right one. But the speakers work. Thanks though.

Ok I have it working now. Not sure exactly what was wrong, but I resorted to a hard reset and now it is working. Mike
