HELP: Need NB0 / CRC file to reset my AXIM 50V

Folk,

My AXIM X50V is starting to look like a brick!!

It started with a forced 'hard reset' because of failed boot on 'soft reset'...

It ended with 'death after 80 percent' progress bar on reboot !!

The diagnostics work (Record, Power, reset) so no apparent hardware problems!

I read in the forums about flashing the ROM from and SD card, but have no way of getting the necessary NB0 / CRC files!!!

Can anyone send me a copy (or a link for) of working NB0 / CRC files. I don't care what OS, i.e. WM5 / WM2003. I was running WM5 / A0, but will be going back to WM2003 ASAP - if I ever get my brick back !!

Alternatively, I do have the .IMG files on Dell CD's but don't know what to do with them.

THANKS,

Roger

Cool Found them!!

Thanks to the skills / generosity of your EXCELLENT Forum members (and some searching around), I found the files I needed at:

http://rapidshare.de/users/1VXNG

Needless to say they worked perfect, and my X50V brick is now the amazing tool it was before!!

I am sure it is a 'sensitive topic' and Dell doesn't want to admit / expose AXIM architectural details, but these files / this recovery technique could probably save Dell THOUSANDS in RMA / postage / technical support !!

I trust their own staff monitor this site and its Forums !!

Thanks again,

Roger:)
