activesync still starts by itself without cradle/cable insert

i followed the directions for the sticky explicitly, but activesync still starts without warrant..... HELP!!! its really annoying!!! and sucks the battery life, and wont let my alarms work...

try to think ...out of all your 3rd party softwares ... anyone of them could have a settings related to "updating" (news...weather..etc..) ... that might be the culprit :)

If it's starting over a wireless connection, there's a setting in your ActiveSync menu's that you can change. It's under "Options" in the ActiveSync menu.
