Hi,

This is my first post, apologies if the answer is obvious but I've had a quick root through the forums and couldn't find anything related.

I received my Dell Axim x51v on Thursday. Got everything set up - it seems ok with WiFi etc... connects to my home network ok, but my problem is this. When I connect the USB cradle to my laptop (HP) and try to synch the Axim, the synch goes ok, but it knocks off the WiFi connection on the laptop.

I've been trying to figure out where the problem may be, is it my Router (3COM), Laptop, or PDA. I suspect that when synched, the laptop maybe somehow thinks that it has two wifi network devices attached and so disables one, but I can't figure out what I need to change to prevent it.

If anyone has experienced this before, or knows an elegant solution (or not so elegant would be just as good!!), it would be much appreciated.

Serach the wm5 forum and the x51, I know that this is an issue and there is work around. Since my wm5 upgrade is still shrinkwrapped and acting as a swell coaster, I haven't absorbed the details. A search should get you pretty close. Good Luck.
