I have a problem with the synchronisation of calendar appointments from my Dell Latitude to the Axim x50v. If I put appointments into my Outlook calendar they do not synchronise through Active Sync version 3.8.0 into the Axim. I do however receive reminders of these appointments on the Axim. Appointments that I put into the Axim are immediately synchronised back into the PDA. I have no problem with synchronisation of tasks, E Mails, notes, etc from laptop to PDA.

Have you checked the options for Calendar in ActiveSync? This is done on the desktop by opening ActiveSync and clicking on the Options button, or going to tools menu and the options command there.

Then click on the calendar from the list that appears and the setting button beside it.

Have checked this recommendation out
This allows one to synchronise all appointments in calendar on your mobile with Microsoft Outlook on the computer
Have put a check alongside "synchronise all appointments" but still no synchro from laptop to Axim
The reminders of appointments on the Axim top screen works very well but you cannot view the appointments in the calendar

I have resolved the issue.
I had a further problem in July and everything went dead
Seems that I had an unintentional hard re-boot
Lost data but calender and contacts were re-gained on synchronisation with the desktop
On re-booting I now have full calender synchronisation between PDA and laptop
