if I bought a german model and wanted to install Window Mobile from my other X50V on the german model can I ???

Is it a simple as reformatting a normal computer i.e wipe it and reinstall?? will my Windows CE discs work on another PPC if it is also an X51v???

No, its different. You can flash the os to the rom using a sd card. But you cant put newer or older versions of the os on a ppc, becuase of the rom version or something.

It is hard to understand exactly what you want. What do you want to do?

I want to take a German X50v (operating system inGerman) and overwrite it with a UK operating system from my backup discs provided with the PDS. So effectively I have an English operating system
