In my office, the WIFI router is about 12 foot away from my desk with clear line of sight.

Somedays my X50 connects to the Internet no problems - others like today it is struggling to get a connection

Ive tried soft resetting the PDA but that makes no difference. Ive tried using it with and without the power cable connected, there is no common link

Anyone any ideas - as literally nothing is being changed.

The router is a Belkin.

Sounds like some periodic interference. PPCs seem more sensitive to this than PCs. I'd try changing the channel on the router (but use 1, 6 or 11).
