I screwed up yesterday and don't know how to fix my problem.

Yesterday, when I went to sync my X50 for some reason it asked me set up a new user or enter as a guest. Without thinking I set up as a new user, and now all of my settings are lost. I'm sure I'm not using the right terms, but my manual really doesn't even give me enough info to let me use the proper terms.

Now when I try to change back to my old settings I get some kind of "mobile device name conflict error" when I try to go back to my old profile.

Can somebody help a newbie get back his original settings?

You have to click on start>settings>about>ID and put your ax's name back to what it was before you lost everything....it defaults it at Pocket PC....that should work for you...

I tried changing the device Id and it appeared to work while it was syncing, but it didn't change the settings.

How do I find out what the original device name was? Maybe I am not using the right name.
