Poor Audio Using BT Headphones - Only on the AximX50v
Hey, has anyone using BT Headphones noticed some crackling when paired with the Axim? I'm using Jensen WBB100RX BT Headphones and it comes with a separate transmitter.
When I connect with the Axim, I'm using the Broadcomm 1.6 patch and connecting directly. That's when I notice some background 'pops'. This happens in both TCPMP and WMP.
When I use the included transmitter and connect it to my laptop (via a 1/8" jack into the headphones socket), the sound is GREAT!
So, it's leading me to believe the issue is with the Axim's BT. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have the exact same problem. In fact, i've been thinking of biting the bullet and installing WM5, with all of it's problems, just to see if it works better. I'm pretty sure it does have to do with the axim BT, as I have paired these headphones with my PC and they sound fine.
I'd be interested to know if anyone with a different pair of BT headphones is having better luck.

Hello,
Using the Jabra BT620s with WM2003SE on my X50v, it sounds great, no noise or cracking, etc. Also great with PC but you have to use the Jabra USB adaptor for the PC. On the phone, it works great also, using Motorola phone.
Take Care,
Jim

There's nothing wrong with the BT in wm2003se, x50. The real problem you have is the phones. I use the ht820 stereo phones from motorola, using the BT driver (widcomm) on HP's site, and there are no ticks, crackles, pops, or dropouts (while in range). Everything else the same but the phones, this time with HP's own phones, and it's like being under an AM radio tower (well, sometimes).
Details, if you can pick them apart, are here
