Hi,

I just installed the Windows Vista Beta 2. It is kind of quirky, but looks like it has potential. Activesync has been replaced by a built in thingy called Sync Center. When I try to set up a new partnership there, it doesn't work because it can't find the X50v, even though the Device Manager shows it to be there and working fine.

Any ideas?

Well, I can't say Welcome to Aximsite, but I will say this: Welcome to your first post and hopefully a start to many more!

Anyway, is your x50v WM2003SE or WM5? My x51v works fine.

where did u get the vista beta 2 cuz all I have is a transformation pack

I'm afraid I have the same problem exactly using my X50v.

To add insult to injury Vista will not allow me to install Activesync because they now have "Sync centre."

Bizzarely, you can see the X50v, SD card and CF card in Windows Media...

Let's hope someone (maybe even MS) comes up with a fix.

I'd hate to have to install that crappy WM 5.0 just to be able to sync...
