Stuck at "Dell Logo" screen, question about battery based on previous posts
Hello!
My axim is stuck at the dreaded Dell Logo, and I get the "memory problem occured, press <contacts> to fix the error."
I am not understanding what people are proposing as the solution. I am reading a lot of advice such as "drain the battery", and then soft reset.
I took the battery out of the Axim, it was out all last night. Is my Axim suposed to still work without this battery? That's the one missing piece I can't find. Even without the battery, when I place it on the cradle, I get no power, the Axim doesn't turn on. Is this normal?
Now that I've let the battery drain overnight, I have placed it *back* in the Axim, and put the Axim on the cradle to let it charge up. It's still orange. Again, is this normal?
The one question I have, is the Axim suposed to still work when the battery is out and it is on the cradle? Because mine didn't. :-)
I'm so upset, the warranty was over 4 days ago. Figures!!
