I "upgraded" my X50v to WM5 already some time ago. What happens "regulary" is, that the topline (where you have "START") and the icons eg. of calender and if you select PROGRAMS are corrupted.
Doing a rotate restores to Top line, but the other icons remain corrupted. Only a soft reset restores everything to normal again :)

I am running the German" version uf WM5
Add software : spb Pocket Plus, Resco Explorer

Read the links, but they all seem to refer to PIE, games and TV-Watching. I donot use the PIE, games(except solitär) and NO TV

The Problem happens "overnight" when I switch on the PDA again.

The "static" is not on the whole screen but only on the TOP-Line (where you have the clock etc) and the icons of the programs

Had to do a softreset again this morning. Used it yeserday evening and it was still OK. than this morning : corrupted Icons (they look like dotted lines )

Will take a picture when it happens next time

I get messed up icons as well, but only after a hard power down, not just hitting the off button to shut off the screen.
