I somehow left my x50v running out of main battery for too long. I got warning saying the backup battery is low too and needs replacement. However, after recharging it, both batteries are fine now. Is backup battery of x50v rechargable?

Yes, it is. That is the battery that makes the first charge of a new x50 so important. You should be fine.

I had the same problem after leaving it off for more that 3 months. I am getting the same info: Memory needs to be replaced, However, all my data has been lost, and I had to re-set my Axim 50. It promped me to do do. I rechanged it, but not sure what to do on the memory battery. Do i just leave it on the charger to recharge????

yes.. just leave it on charge for a good few hours,,,,
