Hi all:
I have been having problems with my X50v after upgrading to WM 5 weeks ago. I noticed that it turns on itself at times mainly when sitting on cradle. Also I had like two times that the device won't boot up unless I press power+reset (I chose not to perform factory reset once, it still booted up). Now what's worse is my CF card seems to be damaged since it's not recognized by the device.. Does any one know this kinda problem? Many thanks... :(

Simple solution, go back to WM2003SE. WM5 is nothing but problems for X50v.

chat up Dell support to get upgraded to an X51v... I instaleld WM05 and the OS is great, but he hardware (x50v) cant handle it, I'm gonna be trying to get an X51v instead now... (there's a thread about this in the main X50/x51 forum "guide to upgrading your x50 to an x51" I think)
