I read Ikehiker's guide and briefly got my x50v connected to the internet but now it still sees the local wireless network but won't connect to the internet. I have the setting pointing to the work network and using internet doesn't work either. Power saving is disabled. Not sure what else to do.

Not sure what I did but it worked. For now, anyhow.

Mine does that too. Finds Wifi, connects, can use msn messenger but cant browse the web. Can you try and remember how you got it working?

I have the same problem. I've had my axim for 2 years and have never connected to the internet. I've taken it to th Geek squad, comp usa, and the dell kiosk at the mall, but nobody can help. Other than that I love it. Sure wish I could figure out how to connect to the internet,though. Barb

Try going into the network settings - Start, Settings, Connections (tab), Connections, Set up my Proxy server. On the Proxy server tab, check the top box (This network connects to the Internet) but leave everything else on this page blank. On the General tab, the name should be "My Work Network." OK and then select the Advanced (tab), Select Networks and select "My Work Network" from both of the pull down lists.
