It's been awhile since I've had this problem and can't remember the fix. I checked the boards and can't find anything. My screen goes dottie. Little black and white boxes (pixels) or sometimes lines from the top to bottom. If I reboot no change. If I change the picture in the today area the screen will come back to normal. However, the icons continue to be dottie. :rolling: I'm sure there is a sticky on this Forum I'm just not finding it. Since I upgraded to the WM Media the dottie issue has come up. Thanks for any insite to this problem. :)

Those are called "kiddie blocks" (or at least that's what we used to call 'em). Most of the time that's a hardware failure, though. You say you just upgraded to the WM Media? Do you mean you upgraded to Windows Mobile 5? If you're on an X50 and did that you're likely to have issues - though I haven't heard of this one.

yeah... sorry bout ur problem.. and wm5... try rupping the screen gently... then throw it away...

not really... not sure whaat the problem is, but i think it might be dead... sorry:(

It sounds like something you've installed isn't being polite to the video drivers. What machine are you using? Did you mean you updated to WM5? Does all your software support WM5?
