After wild night out for New Years I woke up next day to realize that my x50v screen is broken. After quick invastigation I found the person who did it - my wife. She probably stepped on it as it was lying on the floor. Anyway, the screen is cracked, it lights up and displays everything fine, but it's not a touch screen anymore. Do you guys know if those screens are replecable? If so, does anyone have one for sale or where can I get one?

You can purchase a cheap broken X50v (with an intact touch screen) from the Classifieds, Ebay, etc., or purchase a screen from an online merchant such as PDASmart. PocketPCTechs will also do the repair for you.

I don't know if wive's shoes are covered under the warranty, but it may be worth a shot making an inquiry to Dell about screen or unit replacement.

It's not covered by warranty unless you have the accidental damage insurance.

It's like driving your car. If you drive it into a tree it's not covered by the manufacturers warranty, it's covered by your insurance.

If just the touch screen is cracked and the actual LCD is not, then you can purchase a replacement digitizer from PDAParts.com: http://www.gethightech.com/Merchant2...egory_Code=DIG
They have instructions on how to replace the digitizer and I posted better instructions in this forum about a year ago. You'll have to search for it as I forget the exact date I posted it.
