Failed Windows 2005 Rom A02 update

Guys i need help in my Dell Axim x50v, I'm trying to update my Axim x50v version windows 2003 se Rom A05 to Windows 2005 version A02 (the newest version on the Dell website) but when i try using the update Rom application it is showing "Current Version: Windows 2005 A05 and to be Updated: Windows 2005 A02" after the info the update will start during the rom update my Axim shows me an info

" Image Update

Invalid data received!!

Please perform hard rest."

then the program starts and updates the rom but when the update turns to 100% the active sync connections will be cut off and when i try to hard reset the device. Windows 2003 se is still the software.

What's the problem? How can i resolve this?
Please if anyone can help i would appreciate it !

Note: I'm using the latest version of Active Sync version 4.5 beta " cuz its the most stable and it immediately finds the Axims than earlier Active sync appl"

I'm connected to a Usbsync cable

Please can anyone resolve this problem of mine

You need to have upgraded to wm5 a01 first

Then run the a02 upgrade

Try syncing in the cradle. I couldn't get it to update using my sync cable but it worked like a champ when I used the cradle.

Exactly as he said. You can not go directly from windows 2003 se to WM05 A02 ROM. First need to upgrade to WM05 ROM A01 from the official upgrade CD then go to A02. Otherwise you will be getting that error no matter how you are connected.

I see... thanks! but where could i find this Ao1 rom version? Coul i download it from other source?
