Freeze on Dell Screen Bootup (x50v A02 WM5)

Hi,

My x50v was running just fine on wm5 for a few months now and all of the sudden I turn it on and get the stuff you see when you do a hard reset. But I never did a hard reset? In fact the pda was working perfectly yesterday!

Anyway I start re-installing software and on one app it just locked up when installing. I did a soft reset and it got stuck about 85% of the way through the Dell bootup screen. So I did an intentional hard reset this time. It STILL freezes at that 85% mark!

Anyone had this happen to them before and find a way out of it? I don't think I can even roll back to 2003 SE now that it freezes up like this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like your OS is fried. Check up on the SD Image Loader procedure to put a working ROM back on your Axim.

I just did that and it was a success! What would we do without aximsite!
